I’ve been designing since 2003, though at the time I was more just a kid with a wild imagination and an obsession with problem-solving. Instead of asking for toys or an ipod touch, I asked for Adobe After Effects and some Video Copilot plugins for my birthday (yes, that was me).
Growing up in Holt, Michigan, with a big curiosity about how things work, I was always drawn to the magic of bringing ideas to life, especially in the world of 3D and VFX. I would’ve loved to be an engineer if I was any good at the sciences, but I found my home in the world of creative troubleshooting in “the grid”—building things from nothing but pixels.
My work is all about turning dreams into reality, with a focus on creating imaginative and immersive experiences. I’ve spent years learning by jumping down rabbit holes that taught me how to bring even the most complicated ideas to life. What excites me most is the chance to build worlds that feel real.
When I’m not working I love playing video games, debating the best sci-fi movies (there’s always a debate) or waking up too early on a Sunday morning to watch football (soccer) HWTL!
I’m currently based in Spring Lake, Michigan—a place that feels like home after years of bouncing between Holt, Grand Rapids, San Francisco, and NYC. Michigan is where I met my partner, where we lived out some big city dreams of which some did come true, and where we’ve finally returned to in 2025.
